Johnny & Celeste

Johnny's Bio:
I was born & raised in New Orleans Louisiana in 1951 and graduated from high school in 1970 (in New Orleans). Music has been a major influence on me my entire life. As a child, my dad played every evening and we were entertained daily. This was without a doubt the biggest influence on me musically.

Most everyone in our family played music and my uncle Jimmy & uncle James are the best musicians I've ever known. I got my first guitar in 1968 with S&H green stamps that my mother saved for me!

I started playing immediately and while I was learning my sisters would make me leave the house! I wrote my first song "I Am Just A Fool" in 1969 while in high school (my self esteem is higher now)! In the late 1970's I started playing in my first band.

My dream was always that someday I'd move to Texas where my pop was born and I did in 1990. During this time my children Johnny & Kandie (we never could spell) began showing musical talent and that has been a blessing I can't describe.

I started playing music locally in 2004 and we formed the Memory Makers. Ray and I are now "Back In Time" and we thoroughly enjoy our music. "Back In Time" totally includes my wife Celeste and Ray's wife Sherriee. They make the band complete by doing all the things from promotion work to printing our flyers, helping immensely in the planning of our shows, keeping everyone informed of our shows and much much more.

I found true happiness in 2006 with my bride Celeste and life is wonderful!
